Well girls whether you are into it or not computer and console games are definitely a huge part of every day life now. Since then we have seen the likes of giants Like Sega, Nintendo lead the way with there mega drive and Super Nintendo. Characters like Mario and Sonic were born and are still with us now. A Hardcore gamers fell in love with first person shoot em ups like Doom and online gaming was born whereby you can go up against complete strangers or play with a group of friends. Gaming became the victim of critics as childrens social skills suffered and so Nintendo very cleverly cam back with the WII designed to get people interacting with each other and families playing together, but most importantly it got you up off the sofa and moving. We have seen very complex versions of this as a result from Microsoft's Kinnect which uses the person themselves as the controller!
